One app for every sport
Football, GAA, rugby, F1, boxing and more in one channel list, instead of switching between apps and boxes.
Premier League, Champions League, GAA, League of Ireland, rugby, F1, boxing and more. In Ireland the rights are split across many services, and the costs add up fast. This guide compares every official option and price, sport by sport, and shows how an Irish IPTV subscription brings it all into one app.

For a single sport, the cheapest official route is usually that sport's own streaming pass, such as GAA+ at €95 for the 2026 season or LOITV at €99 a year. If you follow several sports, the cheapest big-channel option we found is the NOW Sports bundle at €27 a month on a 12-month term, which covers Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Premier Sports. An IrishIPTV subscription brings sport and event channels together with 49,000+ other channels from €5.42 a month on the 12-month plan.
These are the official prices we found for the main sport services in Ireland in October 2026. Prices change often and offers end, so always check the provider before you sign up.

Not every big game needs a subscription. Ireland has a list of designated events that must be available on free-to-air television, and RTÉ, Virgin Media Television and TG4 also show plenty of other sport. Designated events include the All-Ireland senior football and hurling finals, Ireland's games in the Six Nations, Ireland's qualifiers and finals games at the Euros and World Cup, and the Summer Olympics.

Live sport is the toughest test for any stream: fast movement, big crowds online at the same time and no second chances. These tips keep every match sharp and smooth.
Wi-Fi is the most common cause of sport buffering. A cable to the TV or Firestick, or a mesh point nearby, fixes most problems.
4K needs about 25 Mbps on one screen. If the picture stutters at peak time, switch to the FHD version of the channel.
Open the channel before kick-off so the stream settles, and check the event channels for big games.
Closing and reopening the app clears its memory, which helps on older Firesticks and smart TVs.
Live streams can be a little behind live radio or score apps. Mute match notifications on your phone during the game.
Favourite two versions of your main sport channel. If one ever stalls, switch in a second.
On busy weekends, two big games often kick off at the same time, or one person wants the GAA while another wants the Premier League. With the 2-screen plan you can play two channels on two devices at once for €115 a year, and the 3-screen plan covers three rooms for €175 a year. It is one of the main reasons sports households choose IPTV over a single TV box.
